Key outcomes:

B Corp certified with 91 points

A first impact report

Ongoing support with internal culture change

“Oscar and Will travelled up to our offices in Leicestershire to hold a B Corp kick off workshop for our team. The session was well delivered and provided our team with a comprehensive knowledge about what B Corp is, the benefits, the processes, and the bigger picture of what certification can bring to an organisation.”

Tom Sellicks, Sustainability Lead

The Challenge:

Pure Table Top are a passionate group of homeware suppliers who are innovating quickly within their sector to become the leading sustainable homeware supplier in the UK. A large part of their recent development has been within the sustainable aspects of their business. We began our engagement with Pure Table Top to support their ambition of submitting their B Corp certification from scratch in one year. We were excited to get moving with an ambitious team of 6 employees who covered supply chain, sustainability, HR and finance.

The Solution:

Using the three-step Shift B Corp methodology we baselined a first pass score within the B Impact Assessment and created a roadmap to submission in the Outlining phase. These first two stages were carried out with Tom, Pure Table Top internal B Corp lead with 1-to-1 support throughout. After outlining the policies and practices needing to be implemented in order to certify comfortably with 90+ points. The internal B Corp implementation team set off to make the changes outlined. After four months of passive implementation support using the Shift Implementation Platform, Pure Table Top completed the implementation phase and certified with over 90 points in 2022. We have continued engagement post-certification through ongoing support service, Shift Subscription, facilitating Culture Shift workshops and impact report building.
